ReplyDeleteVery well written post on fusion of the heritage and contemporary design grammars. As a matter of fact, such blend is largely visible in the state of Rajasthan not only for hotels and resorts, but equally for private houses, apartments buildings, commercial buildings, et al. Detailed textural environment differentiated through prudent use of choice materials, artistically detailed designing, smart use of vibrant colour shades, traditionally skilled craftsmanship coupled with modern day creativity inspired by traditional art forms and folklores synthesise harmoniously to deliver the canvas of awe and excellence to such architectural examples. Rajasthan, as such, is Royalty and Regal indulgence does lend authenticity in the absolute. I must congratulate the highly talented architect duo Khushboo and Kunal Khandelwal for having designed this gorgeous and strikingly beautiful Hotel Lake end in Udaipur.
ReplyDeleteRich heritage with contemporary flavour of royal and regal Rajasthan in its own colourful shades!!Grt reading!
